Bea started her professional career with stand-up comedy in the year 2011 after playing small roles she appeared for Irish and British television dramas starting in 2009. After 2012 she had been appearing in sketch comedy shows, sitcoms, and other similar shows. After she received an award at the Edinburgh Comedy Awards in 2011 and then began appearing on numerous panel shows, where she's currently a regular. In 2016 and 2017 she was a team leader on 8 Out of 10 Cats. Also, she is participant on 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown. Born in the family of Brian O'Sullivan, the actress is the mother of one sister called Sinead. In 2012, she became the only woman to be awarded the So You Think You Are Funny award. The surname of Bea is in honor of her father who passed away. Aisling O'Sullivan, also known as Cliodhnadh Aisling was born in Kildare town in County Kildare. Bea's father Brian, an equine vet, who took his own life when Bea reached the age of three, was a victim of self-harm. The news of his death only at 13 years old. Bea adopted the stage name Bea as a tribute to her father. She wrote an article for The Guardian in 2017 about the family's suicide experience. Bea and her older sister Sinead, were raised in the home of Helen Moloney (n e Moloney) an ex-jockey and teacher at a secondary-school. Their family was passionate about horses and races. Bea began her career as tourist guides at Irish National Stud. But she soon realized that her true passion was acting, not racing.
