Michael Keaton was an American actor, producer, and director, most well-known as the main character of Birdman. Keaton is skilled in comedy as well as drama. His career has seen him play a variety of characters who are romantic, and also in action-packed films. While still in his teens the actor began developing an interest in both acting and performing. In the later years, when he was young, he began to try stand-up comedy. While his stand-up comedy did not go well, it helped pave the road for his acting. Because he could not to succeed as the actor of his dreams, he chose to become a television cameraman. This job is where he realized it was his dream to be in front of cameras. A television role was secured and he appeared in several episodes Mister Rogers Neighborhood. The actor had natural talent and was a huge hit on TV. After having a successful movie career, his comedic appearances brought him plenty of recognition. For Tim Burton's Batman, he played the role of Batman's superhero name. As time passed, he grew as an actor, and began to work in direction and production. In 2014, his performance as Birdman garnered him many nominations and awards.
